JAPANESE PASSENGER LINER YAWATA-MARU

Yawatamaru, like her sister ship Nittamaru, was completed as a passenger ship for the Europe route. Due to the outbreak of Second World War, however, she served North American route and flourished as a luxury liner for about one year.   Right before the war started, she was brougnt into requisition and converted into an aircraft carrier. In May 1942, she became a special aircraft carrier and was renamed to Unyo. She flourished as an escort carrier. Get this kit to build the luxury liner version of Yawatamaru.

This model needs to be assembled, Please read the provided Assembling instructions sheet completely and carefully, before starting to assemble the kit.

Glues and paints are not included with the product, they must be purchased seperately. Do use them in a well ventilated area.

Tools like clippers, cutter knife, file, glue or plastic cement mightbe used for either trimming of the parts and (or) putting them together, so adult supervision is recommended for kids below 12 years of age.

The kit contains small parts. Please keep it out of reach of small children. Accidentally swallowing them can cause choking.
