I.J.N. DESTROYER HATSUHARU 1941
"Hatsuharu was a destroyer class ship, which was built in July 1934, it was designed lighter in order to improve stability. However, following the incident in September 1935 where large waves snapped the bows off two Fubuki-class destroyers that were conducting exercises during a typhoon. Hatsuharu had her hull reinforced. The modifications were completed in May 1936.
After the Second Sino-Japanese War broke out in 1937. Hatsuharu was readied for war by attaching armor plating to the front of the bridge, second smokestack and installing 7.7mm machine guns on the bridge canopy. She joined the war soon after and saw many battles before being sunk by enemy fire in Manila Bay on November 13, 1944. Get this kit to build a classic destroyer ship by yourself!"
