McLaren F1 was first built in 1995 as 'The ultimate road car", with no intention to enter a racing circuit. However, after many teams approached Mr. Gordon Murray , he agreed to modify the F1 into a racing car, with this McLaren F1 GTR was born. In 1997, the exterior of the GTR was overhauled with longer nose,tail and wider rear wing to increase it's aerodynamic downforce. Using this body work, McLaren produced only 3 street legal cars called as McLaren F1 GT and these are referred to as 'The Long Tail Version'. This kit features openable and closable doors and engine hood, a reproduced V12 engine, special decals, colored tail lenses, etc. Precisely reproducing an actual car. It can be finished more realistically by combining with optional "detail-upgrading" parts. Get this kit to build this iconic car by yourself!
